MyMobileCoverage Pro is an advanced version of the MyMobileCoverage App.MMC Pro offers a much broader set of mobile capabilities that will require additional permissions during install.
MMC Pro performs active and passive network tests including:
Active tests: (triggered by the user)
- Video and Audio streaming Testing
- Youtube adaptive streaming Tests
- SMS send and reply time Testing
- Web page load time Testing
- Voice quality Testing (calls and then compares to original voice script)
- Test Scripting (script your own scheduled tests, script your own drive tests)
- Indoor sampling accurately maps coverage without GPS. Run speed tests while you sample!
Passive tests (remotely triggered)
- Passive speed testing (measure throughput from the background)
- travel detection can be used to trigger scripts or aggressively map coverage in new areas when travelling
- automatic speed tests in new areas
MMC Pro allows real users to gather detailed samples when active, maps this information accurately, and then goes idle to conserve the battery. Our technology creates a wide variety of detailed coverage maps using network signal, location, cellid, neighbour cells, data throughput and data states in each sample. MMC Tools allow drill down on our coverage maps to retrieve the original data for further analysis. We work directly with network providers to improve mobile experience.
